CAROLINE + KOSTA | ENGAGED | MCMENAMINS ANDERSON SCHOOL | BOTHELL
When my good friend Sonia approached me at work to see if I had availability for a June wedding, I looked at her a little sideways. She has been happily married for quite some time. She continued to tell me her nephew Kosta just got engaged and was looking for a wedding photographer. She gave my info to his fiancé Caroline, and she would be reaching out.
Thankfully amazing runs in the family! Caroline and Kosta were terrific to work with right off the bat. They were responsive, flexible and decisive. We met in Bellevue for their consultation, and they were headed to San Fransisco for a little weekend getaway the next day. They got back to me just as soon as they were back in town and we arraigned a date and time for their engagement session. Happy dance!
As I was scouting out locations in downtown Bothell for their engagement session, I came across McMenamins Anderson School in Bothell. We often have dinner there and stayed in the hotel this year for my birthday. I’m so in love with their beautiful artistic grounds and thought it would be a perfect backdrop for an engagement session. Little did I know Caroline and Kosta had their first date there! It was SOO perfect!
They showed up right on time and perfectly coordinated! We had so much fun walking around Bothell. When I asked them if they were willing to go on a little adventure and possibly do something a little dangerous, they didn’t hesitate. Let’s do it! So we walked to the Woodland Park mural in downtown Bothell and climbed up the wall to get some of the beautiful shots below. I’m so thankful for such brave clients that let me explore my creativity!!
